Metropolitan Council

Authorizing Metro to abandon existing public water main, and to accept new public water main, for property located at 1919 Division Street (MWS Project No. 23- WL-155 and Proposal No. 2024M-037ES-001).

To designate a certain portion of 2nd Avenue North as a Tourism Improvement Zone and to grant the businesses that front thereon certain privileges.

To amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of Metro, by changing 1.77 acres from AR2a to CS zoning and 0.07 acres from CS to AR2a on a portion of property located at 4000 Andrew Jackson Parkway, at the northwest corner of Andrew Jackson Parkway and Old Hickory Boulevard (1.84 acres being rezoned of 13.06 total acres ), all of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2023Z-111PR-001).

To amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of Metro, by changing from R10 and CL to SP zoning for properties located at 310 and 312 Donelson Pike, approximately 280 feet north of Emery Drive, (2.6 acres), to permit 41 multi-family residential units, all of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2024SP-001-001).

To amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to amend the definitions of multi-family and residence for handicapped, more than eight individuals; update references related to accessory building, detached, detached accessory dwelling, and detached accessory dwelling unit for consistency; add bar/night club as a permitted use in certain industrial districts; add daycare as a permitted with conditions use in certain districts, and to add a definition for half story related to contextual overlays (Proposal No. 2024Z-005TX-001).

To amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of Metro, by changing from RS10 to SP zoning for properties located at 2840 and 2842 Buena Vista Pike, approximately 58 feet east of Mike Shields Court, (3.53 acres) to permit 40 multi-family residential units, all of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2024SP-006-001).

Proposed amendment to Rule 28 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council.

Approving a contract by and between Metro and Rite of Passage, Inc. for operation and management services for the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Facility.

Exempting 2236 Whites Creek Pike, from the minimum distance requirements for obtaining a Short Term Rental Property - Not Owner-Occupied permit pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws Section 6.28.030(B)(2)(d).

Approving the first amendment to an agreement between Metro and Bode Cellmark Forensics, Inc. dba Bode Technology to provide testing of forensic biological evidence.

Requesting the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and the Metropolitan Department of Codes to provide written notice of any actions taken to demolish, relocate, or otherwise permanently alter the building known as Colemere located at 1400 Murfreesboro Pike.
