Metropolitan Council

Approving a letter of agreement and memorandum of understanding between Metro and the Nashville Downtown Partnership related to an application for the FY26 Downtown Public Safety Grant from the State of Tennessee.

Amending Chapters 17.04, 17.12, and 17.16 of the Metropolitan Code to amend the regulations pertaining to height within the Single-Family Residential (RS) and One- and Two-Family Residential (R) zoning districts and to simplify the conditions by which two-family dwellings may be permitted in the AG, AR2a, R80, R40, R30, R20, R15, R10, R8, R8-A, R6, and R6-A zoning districts (Proposal No. 2025Z-010TX-001).

Amending Title 2 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws authorizing the creation of a Midtown Central Business Improvement District and appointing a corporation to act as an advisory board to the district with the necessary powers and authority to carry out the purposes and intent of the district.

An initial resolution determining to issue general obligation bonds of Metro in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $531,925,000.

Calling for the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Emergency Communications to enact various reforms relative to departmental leadership and workplace culture.

Authorizing Metro to abandon existing public water main, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for two properties located at 100 and 102 B White Bridge Road, also known as TCAT Nashville, (MWS Project No. 25-WL-22 and Proposal No. 2025M-156ES-001).
